MSHP: Two children injured in wreck


RAVENWOOD, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two children were injured in an Nodaway County wreck. At 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dallas David of Ravenwood was driving a 2003 Ford Explorer on 250th street, one mile west of Ravenwood.

The Patrol says she crossed the center line, slid, overcorrected, and ran off the road before overturning. David was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville with serious injuries.

A four-year-old passenger was also taken to Mosaic with serious injuries but was later life-flighted to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. A seven-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. No one was wearing a seatbelt.
